Steve Holcombe aboard his Beta RR300 finished off a great weekend of racing for the Beta Factory Team.  Steve won Day 2 outright and topped the podium on both days in E3 in Italy.  Steve is now the clear leader in E3 and lies second, behind Aussie Matty Phillips, in Enduro GP.

Steve's fellow E3 Beta Factory rider Johnny Aubert also stood on the E3 podium on both days with a 3rd place on Day 1 and a 2nd on Day2.  Johnny sits just behind Steve in E3 making it a possible Beta 1-2 for the championship.  Johnny sits in 7th in Enduro GP.

E2 Factory Beta rider Alex Slavini had an excellent Day 2 and stood on the third step of the podium and 5th in Enduro GP.  His Day 1 was a little disappointing with a 7th place in E2 and 17th outright.  Alex sits in 9th place in Enduo GP - placing all 3 Beta riders in the top ten with only one round to go.

Beta also lead the Enduro GP manufacturers Champoinship - 25 points clear of TM and 30 points clear of Sherco in third place.

With only 15 points seperating Steve and Matty Phillips going into the last round in France on 10-11 September for Aussie Beta enthusiasts it doesn't matter if Steve wins or Matty wins - it is a win win either way.
